Cuttlebug Challenge Blog

remember tomorrow the first Cuttlebug Challenge will posted- all excited , it will be fun
Don't miss it, can't wait to see all your lovely cards

Cute Card Thursday

The challenge this week is for Sparkle and lots of it.

The snowflake cuttelbug embossed background has been glittered up to add sparkle, the cat has also been glittered and little jewels added to the flowers so me thinks that's quite a bit of sparkle

Funky Fairys Challenge- Ribbon and Lace

The challenge this week is to add ribbon and lace to your card using a funky fairys product

so I used the papers and added a bit of white lace and black and white dotty ribbon and two blooms and the little sentiment Hi Cutie Pie in the middle of the flowers

Tilda on a budget

The challenge this week is to make a card costing under £1

The snow paper came in a bargain pack and cost roughly 10p a sheet, the jewels would be approx another 10p, the wool about 2p the sentiment about 5p and the embellishment about 5p as this was a bargain pack with loads in it from the pound shop, the card blank was free with a magazine and you could not include you stamp, paint etc

So i reckon the card cost about 32 p

I've been tagged by my friend Lisa and these are the rules
. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 Things about me:
mmm let me think! this could take a while then...
1.I spent my 40th Birthday in the haunted bedroom of a castle- oops giving my age away
2. I adore Elvis
3.I hate spiders
4. I used to be a punk rocker, then a new romantic- ah the good old days!
5. I, once at work while out on a house visit had to pull up an old woman's tights for her as she was struggling to get dressed and i think she thought I was a nurse and was there to dress her- but I wasn't, but I did anyway - good deed done for that day
6. I want to go to Graceland- and have even bought Elvis embellishments for the scrap book of my trip
7. I love Halloween

There that was painless
Now who to tag? Think most of my DT Funky Hand mates have done this tag so i pick

Their links can be found at the right hand side of my blog

2S4Y- Kazan's sketch #9

This is the sketch this week over at 2 Sketches 4 You

and this is my take on the sketch

I used Funky Fairy papers, eyelets, ribbon, chipboard shapes, black and pink ink and a couple of jewels and glitter

oops have just noticed I have stuck the same photo on twice- the second one was supposed to be a close up- oh well

Tilda & Co Challenge

The challenge this week was to create a Chocolate Delight

For this I used Funk Hand dotty paper and Inkandoo stamp that reads All you need in life is a friend who has chocolate- oh how true- a stamped Tilda image and a tray of chocolates yum yum

The Winner

Tada- drum roll please- the winner of my first blog candy is Clare
Please email me with your address so I can send it off to you
Well Done
How did I pick the winner- well what i did was write the numbers on bits of paper and folded them over but not before putting a doggy choccy button in the middle of each of them then I scattered them randomly about the floor and told Bud to help himself to the treats and the first one he went for would be the winner and it was no 21 which was Clare
should really have taken photos of that cause it was quite funny watching him trying to get all the treats

Funky Fairy Challenge

Have never joined in with these challenges before so this is a first

It is a great sketch this week

And not really having started Christmas yet I decided to do a Christmassy Theme for this one- it takes me a while to get into making Christmas cards- i don't know why but it does
